Global Contracts Totalling Close to $3 million Secured

Global Contracts Akot 1

Over the first six months of 2013 Wireline Engineering has secured close to $3 million in global contracts in key oil and gas markets.

With local partnership agreements established in Nigeria, Indonesia and the Middle East and new contracts confirmed in North America, South East Asia, West Africa and the Middle East, the company is continuing to extend its global reach.

More recently orders for the company’s innovative products and well intervention technologies have been confirmed in Angola, Indonesia, Iraq, Malaysia and Nigeria further reinforcing Wireline Engineering’s ambitious plans for growth.

The North Sea also remains an important market for the company with challenging well intervention work involving the successful removal and replacement of gas lift valves being carried out for two major oil and gas operators using the Advanced Kickover Tool (AKT).

The AKT is a breakthrough in performing trouble-free gas lift operations in deviated wells, especially when used in conjunction with the company’s patented Roller Bogie conveyance tools and the Low Loader deviated jarring tool. On both of the North Sea contracts Wireline Engineering provided their customers with significant benefits in terms of time and cost, whilst mitigating risk in the process.
